Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Exotic skydiving events are jumping in temporary set up drop zones that normally are exceedingly difficult to operate, the use of professional team members is required and some locations extremely expensive permits for air delivery operations. Like most exotic locations an aircraft must be brought to that destination specifically exceeding the normal drop zone operation costs. We at Alter Ego Adventures do our best to make costs as reasonable as possible without sacrificing safety and quality for our participants. We understand there may be other exotic holidays but with us you will be guaranteed safety by the most experienced professionals in the world.

The deposit is nonrefundable. If you are unable to attend, you may sell your slot to a suitable candidate if time allows for that person to attend that current expedition, event or holiday.

In the event of any unforeseen circumstances, if the expedition, boogie or event is cancelled and not postponed by the Alter Ego Project then a full refund to the participant will occur.

We will provide a refund, minus any transfer fees due to the financial banking institutions. In the event a participant cannot attend due to travel restrictions i.e., visa issue, refusal on entry, missed flight etc., there is no refund, and it is the responsibility of the participant to apply for travel insurance reimbursement.

- In the event of unforeseen travel restrictions to enter the country stated by official governing of destination country for example Covid pandemic, travel ban, riots or war which are none of the Parties faults. The Parties undertake to restore the original state, so the participant is entitled for the refund and on top of that every party bears its own cost and expenses. This must be an official travel restriction and documented by a government official statement acknowledging that officially not allowed to enter that country on the dates of the event planned and for the known reason.

Note* Visa refusal, customs border, security etc. refusal into country is not seen as a travel restriction justifying a refund from Alter Ego Adventures.

Aircraft: In the event of an aircraft issue which is none of the parties' fault the client will receive a partial refund calculated on aircraft expenses that have been used. In the event of severe weather and the participant cannot complete their jumps they will be entitled to a partial refund calculated on aircraft expenses. In the event the participants miss, forfeit and or cannot make their allocated aircraft load, they will not be refunded for their jump ticket.
